Our PTO Community
Run Club
This year-round club meets on the track every morning between 8:15-8:45. Volunteers are needed to log miles and track who earns a charm. Run club is available for every Carrillo student; no sign-up required. In the spring, every student participates in our school-wide Jog-a-Thon fundraiser. Help cheer on our Carrillo Colts during this fun activity any time during the school year!
Arts Attack
Each class has a parent volunteer who leads an art lesson monthly or bi-monthly through our Arts Attack Program. Carrillo's creativity culminates with our Arts Attack show in the spring where each class has their work displayed in our multi-purpose room.
Carrillo Garden
Our beloved Carrillo Garden was started by a student in 2001 as a tribute to the victims and first responders of 9/11. The garden is planted and maintained by parent volunteers. We need your green thumbs!

After School Enrichment
After school enrichment programs are available year round, with options changing each quarter. Classes span 9 weeks and are available for every age group. They occur right here at Carrillo Elementary. A variety of sports, creative activities such as art and drama as well as science and engineering based programs are offered. Some classes are taught by our very own Carrillo teachers and staff and others are led by organizations specializing in the topic at hand. Read more and sign up by clicking here.
Dine Outs
Dine Outs are planned by the PTO as a fundraiser for Carrillo Elementary and also a practical way to get families to support our local businesses. Everyone needs to eat so why not take a break from cooking and cleaning one night or grab a special treat after dinner! Room Parents
Room parents help to coordinate class parties, teacher gifts and other special occasions throughout the year. Duties can be co-shared to give even more parents the chance to get involved! Please contact your child's teacher if you're interested in serving as room parent or assisting when needed.
